December 2019

We took the kids to Disney Land for Thanksgiving! There's nothing better than Disney Land during the holidays. The smells, the food, the cool air. We even went to the beach! It rained our last two days there and we nearly froze to death as the temperature dropped. On the las night we lost Tatem just outside of the park. It was dark outside and that was frightening. We eventually found him in a restaurant.

The rest of the month was so wonderful and perfect! We celebrated our 19th anniversary, had a great Christmas, and then rang in the new year.

New Years Eve!

Italian soda bar.

Christmas at Grandpa Roger's house. And it was his birthday!

Gingerbread cake with butter rum sauce!

Treats for Santa and his reindeer.

Mini minced meat dessert pies, and homemade meat pies.

A peppermint cake I created from scratch. The filling in the middle has peppermint flavor, and the rest is homemade whipped cream with crushed peppermint.

A favorite Christmas tradition. A Croquembouche. Gingerbread stars, and candy tinsel.

Santa was at Smiths.

Took the kids to Olive Garden for lunch, just because.

A cute jam that Crista made for us for Christmas.

A pomegranate cake that Cherise made.

Cherise's house.

My uncle Vernon was sick.

Our ward Christmas breakfast.

Visited Santa at Station Park.

I volunteered at Paisley's school Christmas party.

Winkie got hurt.

Christmas Village in Ogden is a must!

I took the girls to the Nutcracker!

The kids made a gingerbread house out of normal bread!

We met these local celebs at Deseret Book!

Fruit cake sundaes with cranberry wafers!

Potato chip nachos with Croatian pickles, currywurst, and a German pretzel.

Dipped waffles on a stick!

Took a break from school and went to Christkindlmarkt in Salt Lake. So fun!

Made holiday cookies.

Took the kids to the Roof for dinner. They were in heaven!

Got home, and Winkie the elf was waiting for us.

That's a Thanksgiving shake right there!

More holiday treats, all holiday themed and flavored.

We were wet, freezing, and exhausted in that Frozen picture.

There's me and Paisley in the back.

Beef Wellington, Thanksgiving dinner, and amazing pumpkin pie at Flo's Diner!

So sad that Cars Land was closed, and Tatem couldn't ride the rides. He was finally old enough to ride it, and couldn't.

Dinner at the Blue Bayou. That's a rack of lamb!

Okay, the food alone was worth the trip, and the rain. Space milk, roasted turkey legs, pumpkin spice shakes, holiday creme brûlée, gingerbread mouse, and holiday spice pastries.

This was a great day!

Dole whips! You can get these anywhere now days.

Mickey's Toontown is always fun!

Yes, it rained. A lot.

I love this boat ride!

Our last time riding Splash Mountain before they change it.
