August in a Flash

August was a month of breakfast! Yes, I made the kids a special breakfast every morning for two weeks straight. Then, Gabe told me he felt he was gaining weight from it and said he was fine going back to just cereal. I tried!

At Gabe's well check appointment we discovered that he grew 4 inches in 12 months. Wow! It was a month of mischief for Tatem. Now that the kids are in school, he gets bored and curious. Not always a good combination as you can see.

We visited with some friends from California and ended the month at Pine View Reservoir. The solar eclipse was incredible and we had our own little party. I wrote all about our experience on my spiritual blog. It received 50,000 views.

The girls got haircuts (Cambrey's first professional cut), and of course we spent more time at Lagoon! I went to the kid's school and put on some fun German activities for their classes. Click on the pictures below to read more details :)
